The Popular Sport of Airsoft Gaming
High intensity, high adrenaline, non-stop energy all leading into head-to-head competition! All this while keeping yourself and your team focused on the single objective at hand, “take no prisoners”. Airsoft Gaming, very similar to Paintball gaming, is becoming widespread and at the same time a worldwide sport. There are many forms, regulations and simulations that the Airsoft enthusiast can participate in but nothing compares to the realistic features and experiences involved in Airsoft Gaming.
The Allure of Airsoft
Most of us, the male of the species anyway, at some point develop a fascination with firearms. For some of us, this interest starts when we are toddlers and continues through adulthood. I cannot count the number of bank robbers that have met their end in my parent\'s backyard or the number of times I have saved the world from the Nazis. Boys will be boys and boys do love their toys.
Are Airsoft Weapons Legal?
It looks real, must be real Yes, airsoft weapons are legal to own. However, keep in mind that these weapons very closely resemble their real life counterparts in appearance. So what you do not want happening is for the Emergency Response Unit to be arriving after you show your buddies you lovely new Airsoft M-16 outside the local Police Station or Airport.
Be sensible with your airsoft weapons! There is no reason for you to have an airsoft weapon out in public. There are laws in relation to carrying replica weapons in public and you can get yourself in a whole mess of trouble if found on the wrong side of the law.
What is Airsoft?
What is Airsoft? First and foremost Airsoft is great fun. As a game it is similar in structure to paintball. There are several game types though almost all are team based. Two most played game types are "Capture the Flag" and "Base Defence" both of which work that same way as they do in paintball.
The key difference between Paintball and Airsoft, is that you will be shooting plastic or rubber pellets as opposed to Paint Balls. The guns or models used in Airsoft are also designed to replicate real life weapons, unlike the guns used for Paintball.
